Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, debug, and deploy full-stack applications and software systems.
- Collaborate with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, data scientists, and other multidisciplinary partners to gather requirements and address system constraints.
- Analyze user needs and software requirements to assess design feasibility within time and cost constraints.
- Develop and modify systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes.
- Implement cloud-forward data environments and web and data pipelines supporting Department of Defense operations.
- Ensure software standards and documentation requirements are met.
- Coordinate software system installations and monitor equipment and system functioning for compliance with specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 5 to 8 years of experience, or a master's degree with 3 to 6 years, or a PhD with 0 to 3 years.
- Active Secret security clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI.
- Proficiency in front-end and back-end development and full-stack development principles.
- Experience applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to operational applications.
- Experience with Angular, .NET, Python, Docker, AWS Services, Helm/YAML, SQL Server, Qlik, Databricks, web/data pipelines, and GitLab.
- Equivalent technologies such as React, Java, PostgreSQL, or Azure are acceptable alternatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities focused on delivering high-quality solutions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Active TS/SCI and active SIPR access are preferred.
