Responsibilities
- Write elegant, efficient, and testable Ruby (and/or TypeScript) code.
- Cover code with tests and perform manual testing of features.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure Engineers on project infrastructure.
- Continuously improve team processes and communicate progress.
- Mentor team members and provide constructive feedback.
- Design, develop, document, analyze, create, test, or modify systems or programs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of web development experience with Ruby/Rails.
- 5+ years of experience with SQL databases.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and automated software testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of GraphQL and Kafka is preferred but not required.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company.
