Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design embedded firmware, application examples, and proof-of-concept solutions.
- Develop reference designs with partners and independent design houses.
- Create and present training materials for embedded applications and solutions.
- Provide customer support and technical guidance to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to application notes, quick start guides, user manuals, datasheets, and technical reference manuals.
- Work with marketing to validate product requirements and review new product introduction materials.
- Assist with business development activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- At least 5 years of experience developing firmware and/or software for embedded products.
- Experience developing device drivers and application software for digital and analog peripherals.
- Proficiency developing software for embedded Linux.
- Proficiency in C and/or C++ programming using sound engineering and software development practices.
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and standard laboratory equipment.
- Experience with IoT edge devices is a plus.
- Experience with real-time operating systems, bare-metal development, processor startup code, BSP, board bring-up, debugging, and embedded power management is a plus.
- Experience and interest in ML/AI are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
