Responsibilities
- Partner with product owners and product teams to understand customer and user experience needs.
- Define the UX and UI vision for products and solutions within the Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure AI and developer-experience team.
- Build UX culture across engineering-led product teams and lead workshops, discovery sessions, and design meetings.
- Influence product requirements to incorporate UX early in project lifecycles.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, mockups, user flows, service blueprints, and interaction designs.
- Rapidly prototype product concepts and business requirements in Figma.
- Design and develop frontend experiences using Angular, React.js, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.
- Translate complex infrastructure, cloud, and AI capabilities into simple, accessible, and adoptable user experiences.
- Integrate frontend applications with APIs and data-driven interfaces.
- Collaborate with product managers and senior stakeholders to shape requirements and manage delivery expectations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building enterprise-grade digital products.
- Strong knowledge of user-centered design, design thinking, interaction design, information architecture, user research, journey mapping, and service design.
- Highly proficient in Figma and able to turn business requirements into working prototypes.
- Experience designing conversational interfaces, copilots, AI assistants, and agentic workflows.
- Strong experience with Angular, React.js, Hooks, Context API, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong foundation in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, responsive design, accessibility, UI performance, and usability.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with APIs or data-driven interfaces.
- Strong UX principles and methodologies knowledge with an innovative product mindset.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, and Jira.
- Basic understanding of AI concepts and experience using AI tools to improve productivity while applying responsible judgment.
- Experience with Google Cloud technology, particularly component architecture for deploying application workflows, is preferred.
- Experience integrating AI products with UI/UX solutions is preferred.
- A design portfolio demonstrating simplistic and minimalistic UI/UX design is preferred.
- Previous financial-services or global-institution experience is preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, storytelling, ownership, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
