Base Salary
$66k - $119k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve software and systems across the full software lifecycle.
- Develop application builds and releases, deployment processes, configuration activities, and software products through all lifecycle phases.
- Gather requirements, prototype, architect complex solutions, and collaborate with internal business partners and software teams.
- Integrate functionality across software components and execute unit, integration, formal system, and other software testing.
- Support software metrics gathering and reporting, quality reviews, operational issue triage, and corrective fixes.
- Follow software development best practices and provide implementation leadership within a team environment.
Requirements
- Associate Software Engineer Level 1 requires a bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM discipline and 0 years of related engineering experience.
- Software Engineer Level 2 requires a STEM bachelor’s degree and 2 or more years of software engineering experience, or a STEM master’s degree and 0 or more years of software engineering experience.
- Development experience with C/C++ or other object-oriented programming languages is required.
- Experience developing software in Linux and Windows environments is required.
- Candidates must be able to obtain, transfer, and maintain a final U.S. adjudicated government Secret clearance and any required program access.
- Preferred qualifications include Java and Java Swing desktop application development, multithreaded desktop applications, full software development lifecycle experience, Atlassian tools, Git, Confluence, DOORS, Cameo UML Modeling, formal software testing, and Weapon System evaluations.
- Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, and willingness to work short-term off-peak periods for program milestones are required.
