Base Salary
$184k - $288k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and expose Jetson capabilities for NVIDIA edge-AI platforms.
- Contribute across hardware platform analysis, boot firmware, Linux kernel, operating systems, and specialized software SDKs.
- Collaborate with hardware and product design teams on system-level software architectures for complex embedded system-on-module platforms.
- Build, implement, and improve system services for scalability, reliability, efficiency, and security.
- Resolve complex system-level optimization and resource utilization challenges.
- Collaborate across worldwide software development teams and guide multiple teams.
- Participate in the product development lifecycle with emphasis on clear requirements, software quality, and performance.
- Develop high-quality software and mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in science, or a master's degree accompanied by over 5 years of demonstrated experience in Linux and advanced embedded systems development.
- 8+ years of industry experience developing and sustaining commercially available embedded products through a full product lifecycle.
- Hands-on development experience with C, C++, Python, and Bash.
- Strong technical collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, and performance-achievement skills.
- Ability and enthusiasm to guide multiple teams, extend technical knowledge, and mentor others.
