Base Salary
$184k - $288k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and expose Jetson capabilities for edge AI platforms.
- Develop software spanning hardware platform analysis, boot firmware, the Linux kernel, operating systems, and specialized SDKs.
- Design and develop system-level software architectures for complex system-on-module embedded platforms.
- Build and improve system services for scalability, reliability, efficiency, and security.
- Resolve system-level optimization and resource utilization challenges.
- Collaborate with global software, hardware, and product design teams.
- Guide multiple teams and mentor other engineers through the product development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science or equivalent experience, or a master's degree accompanied by more than 5 years of demonstrated Linux and advanced embedded systems development experience.
- 8+ years of industry experience developing and sustaining commercially available embedded products through a full product lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience developing software with C, C++, Python, and Bash.
- Strong technical collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, and performance-oriented skills.
- Ability and willingness to guide multiple teams and mentor others.
- Preferred qualifications include open-source contributions, Linux kernel and device driver creation, complete platform BSP development, GPU and graphics driver development, X11 development, embedded software release procedures, Jenkins pipelines, automated testing, OTA, security assessments, and experience with Jetson, IGX, or DGX Spark developer kits.
