Responsibilities
- Build and maintain UI test automation infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain UI-driven end-to-end test suites for web-based applications.
- Maintain test execution environments spanning simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and on-system testing.
- Build automated test run infrastructure and monitor CI/CD execution.
- Use AI tooling to improve automated testing processes, metrics, and reports.
- Document tests, organize test reviews, and communicate test coverage and quality outcomes to stakeholders.
- Assist with the UI release pipeline, release validation, and release documentation.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and coverage strategies aligned with product and engineering requirements.
- Validate features with cross-functional teams, triage issues, and improve product quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software development in test, test automation, or software engineering.
- Experience building and maintaining end-to-end automated test suites for web-based applications.
- Strong working knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience testing React applications and modern front-end architectures.
- Experience with automated testing in CI/CD environments, including test execution, failure triage, and reporting.
- Experience developing test plans, test cases, and coverage strategies.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally to validate features and improve product quality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred experience with simulated, hardware-in-the-loop, or production-representative environments.
- Preferred hands-on experience with Playwright UI automation and regression testing.
- Preferred experience building or maintaining test infrastructure and tooling.
- Preferred familiarity with release validation, release documentation, and signoff processes.
- Preferred experience monitoring and improving CI health, reducing flaky tests, and improving test stability.
- Preferred experience with unit, integration, and API testing frameworks such as Vitest, Jest, or similar tools.
- Must satisfy applicable ITAR eligibility or authorization requirements.
