Base Salary
$130k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for drone and ground-control software.
- Build and enhance automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
- Monitor test results and ensure build stability before releases.
- Maintain software quality through comprehensive test coverage and testing best practices.
- Create and maintain documentation for automated test cases, test plans, and test results.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software testing experience focused on embedded systems and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
- Hands-on experience building and setting up HIL test systems.
- Strong development skills with a scripting language such as Python for test automation.
- Familiarity with embedded communication protocols including I2C, SPI, UART, and Ethernet.
- Experience with GitLab CI or Jenkins.
- Experience using Git and development workflows.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Experience with C/C++ is preferred.
- Experience with Bazel, CMake, make, or another embedded build system is preferred.
- Experience testing RF products is preferred.
- Experience with FPV drone software such as Betaflight, ExpressLRS, PX4, or ArduPilot is preferred.
