Base Salary

$130k - $180k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for drone and ground-control software.
  • Build and enhance automated testing frameworks and tools.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
  • Monitor test results and ensure build stability before releases.
  • Maintain software quality through comprehensive test coverage and testing best practices.
  • Create and maintain documentation for automated test cases, test plans, and test results.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software testing experience focused on embedded systems and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
  • Hands-on experience building and setting up HIL test systems.
  • Strong development skills with a scripting language such as Python for test automation.
  • Familiarity with embedded communication protocols including I2C, SPI, UART, and Ethernet.
  • Experience with GitLab CI or Jenkins.
  • Experience using Git and development workflows.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Experience with C/C++ is preferred.
  • Experience with Bazel, CMake, make, or another embedded build system is preferred.
  • Experience testing RF products is preferred.
  • Experience with FPV drone software such as Betaflight, ExpressLRS, PX4, or ArduPilot is preferred.
