Base Salary
$135k - $169k/yr
Responsibilities
- Specify, design, implement, and thoroughly test low-level bare-metal and RTOS software for power electronics applications.
- Develop software component interfaces and robust real-time software components.
- Contribute to multicore application development and testing.
- Independently resolve technical challenges and ambiguities in requirements and designs.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers and use debugging tools to verify software functionality.
- Create and maintain detailed software project documentation.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of embedded software development principles and strong C programming skills.
- At least 2 years of professional experience developing real-time embedded C systems.
- Experience with version control systems including GitFlow and GitLab.
- Ability to develop and use Python scripting for testing and automation.
- Familiarity with Bazel, CMake, and Makefile build systems and scripts; Bazel is preferred.
- Understanding of real-time software concepts and testing methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to independently design, implement, and test embedded software modules.
- Experience debugging embedded systems with standard tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science; a master's degree is a plus.
