Base Salary
$130k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship full-stack features across TRM’s core products and internal tools with guidance from senior engineers.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and break complex problems into shippable work.
- Design and build scalable, performant, and maintainable APIs and services.
- Write clean, tested, and well-documented production code.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, retrospectives, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in a week-long on-call rotation approximately once every four to six weeks, triaging PagerDuty alerts and customer support requests.
Requirements
- Complete a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a closely related technical field by Summer 2026.
- Have one to two software engineering internships or equivalent experience through academic or personal projects.
- Be familiar with JavaScript or TypeScript and interested in full-stack development using React, Node.js, and Postgres.
- Demonstrate curiosity, coachability, strong communication, initiative, and ownership.
- Be able to work from the Los Angeles or San Francisco office at least three days per week.
- Be able to collaborate during the team’s operating hours, with at least six hours of overlap with Pacific Time.
