Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end technical architecture and solution design for complex projects.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams and provide technical guidance.
- Drive technology selection, implementation approaches, and technical decision-making.
- Design and build cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform and optimize BigQuery solutions.
- Develop backend applications in Python and REST APIs using FastAPI.
- Integrate backend services with databases, cloud services, external platforms, OpenAI APIs, and other LLMs.
- Design and implement AI-powered applications, Generative AI solutions, AI-driven workflows, and automation capabilities.
- Implement authentication, logging, testing, monitoring, API documentation, security, scalability, and performance practices.
- Oversee the software development lifecycle from design through production support, including version control, CI/CD, testing, deployment, and release management.
- Identify technical risks, define mitigation strategies and technical roadmaps, and align delivery with business goals.
Requirements
- Mandatory spoken and written Swedish proficiency.
- 5–10 years of professional experience.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery.
- Strong hands-on Python development experience.
- Hands-on experience developing REST APIs with FastAPI.
- Hands-on experience integrating OpenAI APIs and designing and implementing Generative AI solutions.
- Experience leading development teams and driving technical decisions.
- Experience with microservices architecture, distributed systems, AI agents, workflow automation, cloud security, IAM, CI/CD, automated testing, data analytics, data platform integrations, monitoring, observability, database design, and optimization is preferred.
- Experience conducting code reviews, enforcing engineering best practices, defining technical roadmaps, and working in hybrid and distributed teams is preferred.
- GCP or AI/Generative AI certifications are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
