Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automation and operational tooling for OCI GPU infrastructure across multiple regions.
- Collaborate with software engineering, hardware, and operations teams to maintain a highly available GPU fleet.
- Improve monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and diagnostics for GPU fleet health, performance, capacity, and utilization.
- Serve as the senior escalation point for complex GPU host and repair issues.
- Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, on-call rotations, and critical infrastructure support.
- Improve GPU fleet automation, AI2 Ops processes, and OCI region build readiness.
- Document operational procedures, automation workflows, troubleshooting guides, and runbooks.
- Build, safely roll out, execute, and monitor AI agents.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide senior technical support.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software operations or infrastructure automation experience with strong Python and Bash proficiency.
- Expert Linux administration experience, particularly with Ubuntu and Oracle Linux, in large-scale production environments.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and peer-to-peer, node-to-node, and service-to-service communication patterns.
- Strong data-center and host-lifecycle experience, including provisioning, validation, repair, hardware replacement, and fleet recovery.
- Experience with observability tooling, AI agents and tooling, on-call operations, and incident response.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum qualifications also allow 11 years of related experience without a degree, or a bachelor’s degree with 7 years of related experience, or a master’s degree with 5 years of related experience.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity trends, incident management and response, training and development, technical account management, and cloud architecture.
- Preferred experience includes operating or automating GPU, compute, or other large-scale cloud infrastructure, including NVIDIA- and AMD-based systems.
