Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems based on documented requirements.
- Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document test results.
- Apply appropriate software development and software design methodologies.
- Provide software input to system design, including evaluating Commercial Off-The-Shelf and Government Off-The-Shelf solutions.
- Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, consulting users and system engineers, analyzing usage and work processes, and investigating problem areas.
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using OpenStack and comparable platforms.
- Support software development, development operations, IT management, network automation, cloud security, and cloud operations.
Requirements
- TS/SCI security clearance with a polygraph is required.
- Nineteen years of software engineering experience with a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or an appropriate field; or twenty years with a high school diploma or GED; or seventeen years with a master's degree; or fourteen years with a PhD.
- Strong Linux and Python experience.
- Understanding of IT management and operations.
- Broad experience in systems engineering disciplines.
- Excellent oral, written, organizational, and communication skills.
