Responsibilities

Own the target architecture for Core Banking re-platforming, including technology selection, architectural patterns, and migration strategy.
Partner with Financial Services delivery and Sales teams on presales activities.
Lead technical workshops with prospective clients and translate functional and non-functional requirements into technical solutions.
Participate in on-site discussions with potential clients.
Investigate new technologies, frameworks, and financial-services architecture patterns and run proof-of-concepts.
Set engineering standards, lead the architecture council, and establish lightweight architecture decision processes.
Mentor senior engineers and provide technical leadership on architectural thinking.

10+ years of experience in software architecture.
At least 5 years of experience in financial services.
Demonstrable experience architecting a banking system or comparable platform.
Experience with presales and client-facing architecture.
Experience leading legacy-to-modern modernization initiatives in financial services.
Strong technical communication skills, including architectural documentation and presentations to engineers and bank executives.
Hands-on technical credibility, including the ability to read code, prototype concepts, and engage with technical details.
Familiarity with Java, .NET, relational and NoSQL databases, Kafka, Kubernetes, and common cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
