Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Cloud Avenue’s IaaS infrastructure for production workloads.
- Develop scalable, resilient, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployment pipelines and improve infrastructure reliability.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost efficiency, and security.
- Enforce cloud security, compliance, and governance best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production infrastructure issues.
- Maintain architecture, configuration, and operational documentation.
- Lead and coordinate technical teams during critical incidents.
- Develop crisis-management plans, escalation procedures, communication protocols, and post-incident reviews.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Train teams through crisis simulations and regular drills.
- Coordinate incident-response and recovery strategies across cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in different cloud infrastructure roles.
- Extensive experience designing and managing IaaS infrastructure in cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of Cloud Avenue infrastructure components, including storage, backup, and compute.
- Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Experience with virtualization, networking, storage, and security in cloud IaaS environments.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
