Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Develop solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce APIs, and asynchronous processing.
- Build and maintain REST and SOAP integrations between Salesforce and external applications.
- Participate in technical design, architecture, implementation decisions, code reviews, testing, and deployments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Salesforce application and integration issues.
- Apply Salesforce development, security, maintainability, performance, and code quality best practices.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product and project stakeholders, and distributed engineering teams.
- Own assigned work, manage priorities, communicate progress and blockers, and work independently with limited supervision.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience in Salesforce development.
- Advanced knowledge of Apex and Lightning Web Components.
- Strong understanding of SOQL/SOSL and Salesforce data models.
- Experience developing and consuming REST and/or SOAP APIs, Salesforce integrations, and asynchronous processing.
- Knowledge of Salesforce security concepts, including profiles, permission sets, sharing, and access controls.
- Experience with source control systems, preferably Git, and Salesforce development and deployment processes.
- Experience with Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
- Understanding of software engineering principles, testing practices, and code quality.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, problem-solving, ownership, accountability, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and/or Platform Developer II certifications are preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce CI/CD, Agile/Scrum environments, distributed teams, complex enterprise Salesforce implementations or integrations, and healthcare or healthcare-technology is preferred.
