Base Salary
$194k - $233k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop containerized services for a distributed, multi-tenant system that processes data, real-time events, and network telemetry from public clouds.
- Design, present, implement, and deliver reliable services and architectures.
- Own critical features, subsystems, and the full software development lifecycle through deployment and customer usage.
- Operate production systems and own their operational aspects.
- Write Go and SQL-based data pipeline code and use Kubernetes for service infrastructure.
- Maintain code quality through developer, functional, and integration testing.
- Mentor junior engineers, new graduates, and interns.
- Partner with Product Management and stakeholders to refine requirements and understand customer problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent degree; a master’s degree is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience building distributed and scalable software and systems.
- Experience using AWS, Azure, or GCP at the API or programming level.
- Experience with Go, SQL, REST API clients, and Unix/Linux programming environments.
- General TCP/IP networking knowledge.
- Experience delivering containerized services is desired, particularly in a Kubernetes-based platform.
- Experience with networking and security controls is a plus.
- CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible experience is nice to have.
- Willingness to learn continuously, follow technology trends, and work collaboratively.
