Responsibilities
- Build the core of Lendable's AI harness on top of its cloud coding agent.
- Enable agent capabilities for specification, testing, and service reliability.
- Ensure AI agents meet security and data governance requirements and have appropriate data access.
- Help teams build AI actors that integrate with the software development lifecycle.
- Improve developer experience, engineering throughput, and AI software development processes.
- Measure AI's impact on development and share effective ideas and processes across teams.
- Own solutions end to end from problem definition and design through implementation, monitoring, and iteration.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience in a mid-to-large-size organization.
- Experience building AI tooling that improves developer experience and is used by others in a commercial environment.
- Ability to influence ways of working across multiple teams.
- Strong full-stack TypeScript skills.
- Frontend experience with Next.js or React.
- Strong knowledge of LLMs, embeddings, MCPs, RAG, evaluations, and agentic platforms.
- Experience building production infrastructure using infrastructure as code, Kubernetes, or Lambda functions.
- Experience with Cloudflare infrastructure is preferred.
- Experience with Datadog, Sentry, or Grafana is preferred.
- Experience creating product guardrails such as SLOs and DORA metrics is preferred.
- Self-starting, ownership-oriented approach with motivation to deliver measurable impact.
