Responsibilities
- Develop, test, maintain, and enhance software applications and components using languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or Go.
- Write clean, secure, maintainable, and efficient code following software development standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and business users to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues, escalating complex problems when needed.
- Participate in code reviews and improve code quality, testing, and development practices.
- Integrate applications with APIs, databases, cloud services, and software tools.
- Use AI-assisted development tools or AI agents for coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Contribute to development process improvements, agile engineering practices, and secure application development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of professional software development experience.
- At least 1 year of exposure to AI development, AI-enabled applications, automation, or AI-assisted software engineering.
- Experience with at least one modern programming language, preferably Python.
- Understanding of application design, APIs, testing, debugging, and version control.
- Familiarity with Git or a similar version control system.
- Basic understanding of cloud-based application development, preferably AWS.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Fargate, API Gateway, or CloudWatch.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, deployment practices, REST APIs, microservices, serverless applications, application integrations, SQL or NoSQL databases, and AI-assisted development tools or agents.
