Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the Predictive Analytics architecture and technical direction.
- Lead hands-on development of complex backend, API, data-processing, and Angular UI features.
- Design scalable solutions for large-scale datasets and high-volume time-series data.
- Drive performance engineering across data access, backend/API processing, caching, and frontend rendering.
- Design distributed and cloud-connected systems using microservices, event-driven architecture, asynchronous messaging, resiliency patterns, and Domain-Driven Design.
- Lead modernization efforts, technical discovery, proof-of-concepts, and evaluation of emerging technologies.
- Champion software design, code quality, automated testing, security, observability, and CI/CD practices.
- Lead complex initiatives, mitigate technical risks, coordinate dependencies, and contribute to production readiness and troubleshooting.
- Partner with Product Owners and R&D leadership on backlog shaping, estimation, roadmaps, and delivery planning.
- Mentor and coach engineers and promote knowledge sharing across the engineering organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of professional software development experience delivering enterprise software products.
- Strong hands-on experience with C#/.NET, enterprise applications, APIs, and services.
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and Angular experience for modern enterprise web applications.
- Proven full-stack development experience across backend, frontend, APIs, and supporting services.
- Experience designing scalable, resilient, distributed, and cloud-native systems that process large-scale datasets.
- Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes/AKS, automated testing, Git, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, secure development, and observability.
- Experience with performance optimization, on-premises, cloud, and hybrid architectures.
- Familiarity with Azure services, Azure Service Bus, Azure Key Vault, OIDC, and JWT.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, complex initiative ownership, mentoring ability, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Preferred experience includes industrial analytics, process data, historian platforms, time-series applications, application modernization, security practices, technical discovery, GitHub Copilot, and distributed Agile/Scrum teams.
