Responsibilities
- Design resilient, scalable, and secure Azure cloud architectures for enterprise customers.
- Lead the design and implementation of Azure Landing Zones and compliant cloud foundations.
- Architect and drive migrations of infrastructure, applications, and databases from on-premises environments to Azure.
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions using Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, and other Azure platform services.
- Develop hybrid and edge cloud solutions integrating Azure with existing enterprise environments.
- Define cloud governance, security, identity, networking, and compliance standards.
- Use Terraform, Bicep, and ARM Templates to automate deployments and platform management, including agentic development and deployment.
- Collaborate with technical teams, project stakeholders, executive leadership, and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering teams.
- Support solution development, client workshops, architecture reviews, and pre-sales activities.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience architecting, implementing, and operating Microsoft Azure solutions.
- Deep understanding of cloud and enterprise architectures, distributed systems, and hybrid scenarios.
- Experience with networking, security, identity concepts, Azure AD / Entra ID, Zero Trust, and private networking.
- Knowledge of automation and Infrastructure as Code, including Bicep, Terraform, ARM, Azure DevOps, and GitHub.
- Experience with integration and data architectures in cloud environments.
- Understanding of governance, ALM, and quality frameworks.
- Experience or solid knowledge of data and AI-based services on Azure, including Azure AI Services, Copilot integration, analytics, and automation.
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical, conceptual, customer-interaction, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to mentor and coach consultants and engineers.
- Fluent German and English skills, with a minimum C1 level.
- Customer- and service-oriented approach, strong persuasion skills, initiative, ownership, accountability, and willingness to travel depending on project requirements.
