Base Salary
$115k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and operation of provisioning, firmware-management, and hardware lifecycle services.
- Drive qualification, onboarding, and operational readiness for new server, GPU, NIC, SmartNIC, and storage platforms.
- Define scalable automation and validation frameworks for firmware qualification, metadata generation, compliance validation, and deployment readiness.
- Investigate and resolve complex production issues across provisioning, firmware, hardware-management, and platform lifecycle systems.
- Provide on-call support and technical leadership for customer fleet issues in OCI data centers.
- Establish technical standards for service reliability, observability, security, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Partner with Hardware Engineering, Security, Compute, Manufacturing, and hardware vendors to deliver secure, production-ready platform launches.
- Mentor engineers, lead design reviews and technical discussions, and drive post-incident improvements.
Requirements
- Principal-level technical leadership experience in software, infrastructure, hardware lifecycle, or related engineering work is required by the scope of the role.
- Experience designing, implementing, and operating provisioning, firmware-management, hardware-management, or platform lifecycle services is relevant to the position.
- Experience with hardware platform qualification, fleet management, scalable automation, validation, production troubleshooting, and operational readiness is expected.
- Ability to lead cross-functional work with Hardware Engineering, Security, Compute, Manufacturing, and hardware vendors.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, lead design reviews, and support production operations and on-call response.
