Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
- Develop scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Participate in solution design, technical discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
- Build integrations among applications, databases, and third-party systems.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Troubleshoot application issues and perform root cause analysis for production problems.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Implement unit and automated testing.
- Work with SQL Server, including optimized queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, source control, and automated deployments.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to coding standards and engineering best practices.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and deliver features within committed timelines.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience with strong hands-on expertise in the Microsoft technology stack.
- Strong programming experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core.
- Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core, Web API, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean coding practices.
- Experience with Entity Framework or Entity Framework Core.
- Strong experience with SQL Server, relational databases, and query optimization.
- Experience with NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest.
- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
- Preferred experience with Azure cloud services, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Service Bus, Kafka, RabbitMQ, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, or high-volume transactional or payment applications.
