Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain a modular embedded C Automotive Ethernet SDK across multiple MCU families.
- Define abstraction interfaces that separate common Ethernet and switch functionality from MCU-specific dependencies.
- Port and integrate the SDK across MCU architectures, board configurations, toolchains, and bare-metal or RTOS environments.
- Develop platform interfaces for device communication, interrupts, DMA, timers, memory management, and synchronization.
- Maintain consistent SDK APIs and behavior across platforms while accommodating hardware differences and resource constraints.
- Create reusable reference applications, configuration mechanisms, and porting documentation.
- Develop automated tests and cross-platform build coverage for functionality, portability, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with hardware, validation, and customer-facing teams on MCU bring-up, integration debugging, and production SDK releases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, with embedded software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C, modular software design, low-level drivers, and hardware-software debugging.
- Hands-on experience porting reusable software across MCU platforms and understanding hardware abstraction, BSPs, cross-compilation, and bare-metal or RTOS environments.
- Working knowledge of Ethernet networking, Git, build systems, and automated testing.
- Experience with multiple MCU architectures, Automotive Ethernet switches, PTP/TSN, or automotive functional safety practices is advantageous.
