Responsibilities
- Partner with product management, design, and engineering to understand customer problems and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Own engineering work end to end from discovery and technical design through implementation, release, monitoring, and iteration.
- Build reliable, maintainable product features and contribute to technical direction and long-term product strategy.
- Use, validate, troubleshoot, and improve AI-assisted development practices across exploration, implementation, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Improve developer experience through tools, automation, and engineering practices that support reliable, frequent delivery.
- Collaborate across product and platform teams and contribute to a constructive learning environment.
Requirements
- Professional software engineering experience with React and Node.js, including designing reliable backend services and APIs.
- Deep expertise in either frontend or backend engineering and the ability to collaborate across system boundaries.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools and evaluating their output with effective prompting and appropriate safeguards.
- Experience with a public cloud environment such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD, observability, and operating software in production.
- Understanding of authentication, databases, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and API integrations.
- React Native experience is a plus.
- Pragmatic, builder-oriented approach with strong collaboration, initiative, and commitment to maintainable code.
