Base Salary
$145k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Train, evaluate, and optimize neural networks for execution on embedded platforms.
- Collaborate with platform engineers to meet model performance and memory constraints.
- Write scripts for neural network model development and use.
- Procure and clean data required for model training.
- Communicate domain-specific knowledge, model quality, and model performance to other teams.
- Document work according to defined processes.
- Coach and mentor engineers and serve as a resource to the engineering team.
- Participate as a key contributor to the hiring process.
- Travel domestically and internationally up to 10%.
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of professional experience as a data scientist.
- 3+ years of professional experience working with deep learning libraries.
- Fluency in Python.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with Git workflow.
- Experience with C and/or C++.
- A BS or MS in computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
- Experience with embedded systems is a plus.
