Base Salary
$182k - $251k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical strategy and produce reference implementations, tooling, and abstractions, with approximately 40–60% hands-on proof-of-concept and prototyping work.
- Embed with engineering teams on complex or novel initiatives to remove blockers and move critical designs into production.
- Provide input on policies and procedures that balance technology risk governance with business value generation.
- Maintain and extend the enterprise application knowledgebase, including standards, templates, and engineering guidance.
- Introduce and scale platform capabilities through experiments, pilots, guarded rollouts, adoption plans, and training.
- Establish, communicate, and lead adoption of enterprise application development standards and best practices.
- Resolve application and technology issues within areas of technical competence and influence peers and projects toward greater efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or at least 10 years of experience in software architecture or large-scale systems.
- At least five years of depth in one business-critical technology, or demonstrable authoritative expertise in an emerging or disruptive technology.
- Expertise with C#, .NET, SQL, and Azure, including AKS, ARM/Bicep/Terraform, and managed services.
- Multi-cloud awareness is a plus.
- Mortgage or financial-services experience and familiarity with SOX, SOC 2, or GLBA are preferred.
- Ability to collaborate across time zones and with third-party resources.
