Responsibilities
- Design and develop the SPB Agent generative AI platform for advertiser and seller experiences.
- Deliver end-to-end features spanning LLM integration, prompt engineering, distributed serving infrastructure, and real-time personalization.
- Build scalable, low-latency systems that process millions of data points and provide personalized advertising guidance.
- Develop conversational AI and natural-language interaction capabilities and translate research into production features.
- Optimize resource utilization, token consumption, memory footprint, and operational costs at scale.
- Collaborate with AI researchers, scientists, and cross-functional engineering teams across Amazon Ads products.
- Contribute through design reviews, code reviews, mentoring, and engineering quality improvements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- 1+ years of Object-Oriented Design experience.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
