Base Salary
$203k - $274k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI models and algorithms for onboarding and other business challenges.
- Lead the architecture and implementation of robust, scalable, and maintainable AI systems.
- Design, implement, and operate highly available backend web applications, APIs, microservices, and data pipelines.
- Drive operational excellence, quality, security, performance, monitoring, and customer experience outcomes.
- Collaborate with product management, design, data science, program management, and business stakeholders on requirements and technical plans.
- Develop durable software solutions and contribute to technical strategy and architecture across teams.
- Provide technical guidance, architecture evaluations, and cross-functional leadership.
- Mentor and teach team members to improve the team’s technical capabilities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- At least 2 years of professional experience designing and implementing AI solutions.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, R, or other relevant languages and frameworks.
- Deep experience with SQL, NoSQL, data caching, and in-memory databases such as Memcached and Redis.
- Experience designing and maintaining large-scale backend web services, web platforms, microservices, and API-first environments.
- Experience with Java backend technologies, React, CSS, performance monitoring, and enterprise integrations.
- Experience building and applying data pipelines to user experiences or backend solutions.
- Experience communicating technical architecture, strategy, and domain plans to technical teams and senior leadership.
- Strong cross-team collaboration, communication, mentoring, and independent decision-making skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
