Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI models and algorithms for customer onboarding challenges.
- Lead the architecture and implementation of robust, scalable, and maintainable AI systems.
- Design and implement highly available web applications, microservices, APIs, and backend services.
- Create secure technical designs that balance short-term and long-term objectives while optimizing availability and performance.
- Build and operate large-scale software platforms with strong operational excellence, quality, security, and performance metrics.
- Develop backend data pipelines and apply them to user experiences and backend solutions.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, product managers, designers, program managers, and business stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance, architecture evaluations, and strategic communication across teams and leadership.
- Mentor and teach team members to raise the team's technical expertise.
- Drive customer, business, and technology outcomes across the organization.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- At least 2 years of professional experience designing and implementing AI solutions.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, R, or other relevant languages and frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, data architecture, data caching, and in-memory databases.
- Experience designing and maintaining large-scale backend web services.
- Experience with Java backend technologies and integrating enterprise capabilities.
- Comfort with React and CSS and with driving performance and monitoring for customer experiences.
- Experience building and operating large-scale web platforms and microservices in an API-first environment.
- Experience working across code quality, delivery management, technical architecture, strategy, and domain capability planning.
- Strong communication, mentoring, independent decision-making, and cross-functional influence skills.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
