Responsibilities

  • Work on backend infrastructure stability and reliability.
  • Develop features for applications such as Event Response and vehicle maintenance tracking.
  • Optimize the robotaxi marketplace to balance service supply and demand.
  • Design and develop backend and infrastructure supporting ride-hailing businesses and autonomous vehicle fleet management.
  • Build machine-learning and optimization models for vehicle routing, demand prediction, passenger destination suggestions, dispatch optimization, and ETA prediction.
  • Collaborate technically with engineers and communicate with non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Be progressing toward a BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Have an interest in infrastructure work, including internal tools, frameworks, and libraries.
  • Have an interest in scaling commercial operations.
  • Demonstrate excellent technical and non-technical communication skills.
  • Be excited about working on self-driving cars.
  • Preferred: experience with distributed systems and backend development.
  • Preferred: experience programming in C++ or writing robust, efficient code.
