Responsibilities
- Work on backend infrastructure stability and reliability.
- Develop features for applications such as Event Response and vehicle maintenance tracking.
- Optimize the robotaxi marketplace to balance service supply and demand.
- Design and develop backend and infrastructure supporting ride-hailing businesses and autonomous vehicle fleet management.
- Build machine-learning and optimization models for vehicle routing, demand prediction, passenger destination suggestions, dispatch optimization, and ETA prediction.
- Collaborate technically with engineers and communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Be progressing toward a BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Have an interest in infrastructure work, including internal tools, frameworks, and libraries.
- Have an interest in scaling commercial operations.
- Demonstrate excellent technical and non-technical communication skills.
- Be excited about working on self-driving cars.
- Preferred: experience with distributed systems and backend development.
- Preferred: experience programming in C++ or writing robust, efficient code.
