Responsibilities
- Gather client requirements, perform fit-gap analyses, and shape high-level solutions using Barracuda products.
- Manage technical briefings, proof-of-concepts, architectural design sessions, workshops, bootcamps, and trainings.
- Deliver product demonstrations and presentations, answer technical questions, address objections, and support sales in closing opportunities.
- Qualify opportunities, validate technical requirements, provide product recommendations, and respond to RFIs and RFPs.
- Conduct security assessments and network audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation solutions.
- Collaborate with sales, product, marketing, customer success, channel partners, and distributors to support customer needs and project transitions.
- Assist channel solutions teams with sales-data analysis, sales-process improvement strategies, and partner technical competency development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in sales engineering or a similar technical pre-sales role.
- Hands-on experience with WAN/LAN, VLANs, VPNs, routing, firewalls, QoS, and SNMP.
- Extensive cloud security experience and a strong understanding of cybersecurity, users, remote users, networks, applications, threat vectors, and the network security market.
- Proven sales engineering or consulting success, including the ability to support the sales cycle and help close business.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities.
- Fluent written and spoken English; willingness to travel up to 50%.
- CompTIA Security+ or a similar certification is a plus.
