Base Salary

$161k - $224k/yr

Responsibilities

Design and develop the cloud-based scheduling and orchestration system for global antenna network access.
Build and maintain customer-facing APIs and interfaces for scheduling, real-time communications, and data routing.
Design and implement control and data planes integrating on-premises and cloud environments.
Develop billing and metering systems that track resource usage and generate invoices.
Create orchestration systems coordinating antenna operations across the global network.
Collaborate with customers, network operations, and the software team to build a resilient global network.
Work with customers to define secure and scalable interfaces for telemetry, tracking, control, and payload data transfer.

At least 7 years of professional software development experience.
At least 3 years building and scaling cloud-based services and APIs in production environments.
Experience with distributed scheduling systems, resource allocation, or booking platforms.
Proficiency with modern cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with Rust, Golang, or other languages suitable for cloud services and distributed systems is preferred.
Experience building global-scale customer-facing platforms with high reliability requirements is preferred.
Knowledge of API design, authentication, and access control best practices is preferred.
Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues is preferred.
Familiarity with billing systems, usage tracking, or subscription management is preferred.
Understanding of simulation and modeling, such as satellite propagation, is preferred.
Experience with Kubernetes and containerization is preferred.
Knowledge of satellite communications or relevant domain experience is beneficial but not required.
Must meet U.S. Government space technology export regulation eligibility requirements or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations.
