Responsibilities
- Build and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and declarative features.
- Implement Salesforce enhancements from requirements gathering through deployment and support.
- Develop and maintain Salesforce integrations with external and internal systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-driven patterns.
- Partner with backend engineers on integration contracts between Salesforce and Java-based services.
- Troubleshoot complex integration and data-flow issues across systems.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Marketing, Operations, Risk, Data, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Support data migrations, imports, exports, data quality initiatives, security, access control, performance, reliability, and availability.
- Create technical documentation and improve Salesforce development, testing, and deployment practices.
- Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt and improve platform scalability.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on Salesforce engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce automation, Salesforce configuration, custom objects, flows, validation rules, and security model design.
- Experience building and maintaining API-based integrations between Salesforce and third-party or internal systems.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work independently on complex projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification is preferred.
- Additional Salesforce Administrator, App Builder, or Architect certifications are preferred.
- Preferred experience includes data migrations, large-scale data operations, event-driven architectures, distributed systems, and highly available production-critical platforms.
- Experience with AI model or agent platforms and AI-powered coding assistants is preferred.
