Responsibilities
- Analyze inbound and outbound logistics requirements and advise stakeholders on technical implementation approaches.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP logistics solutions for EWM, LE, and TM.
- Create and review solution concepts, validate them through proof of concepts, and present recommendations to project committees.
- Evaluate implementation feasibility, risks, costs, development effort, maintainability, and technical debt.
- Estimate custom development scope, capacity requirements, and costs.
- Coordinate and guide development activities throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Lead code reviews and design reviews while promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Mentor developers and support solution quality and development practices.
- Support global SAP rollouts and assist key users during deployment and introduction phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, or a comparable field.
- Several years of hands-on SAP development experience, ideally with SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong expertise in ABAP development.
- Practical experience with SAP Extended Warehouse Management, SAP Logistics Execution, and SAP Transportation Management.
- Experience leading and mentoring development teams.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating technical options, risks, effort, and maintainability.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies and excellent communication skills.
- Very good written and spoken English.
- Experience with BOPF, RAP, CDS, OData Services, SAP Fiori, Key User Extensibility, SAP BTP, large international transformation programs, or German is beneficial.
