Base Salary
$66k - $106k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, debug, and maintain applications and systems for a distributed CAD-to-CAD solution.
- Develop multi-threaded server-based distributed software and provide in-solution unit, load, fault, and automated functional testing.
- Install and upgrade products with minimal to zero system downtime.
- Monitor system health and performance and contribute to sizing models and scaling strategies.
- Work with the product owner and collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers.
- Prepare operating instructions, training plans, documentation, proposals, demonstrations, and acceptance materials.
- Communicate with clients and provide occasional onsite support when remote resolution of network outages is not possible.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with two years of experience, an associate degree with four years of experience, or a high school diploma or equivalent with six years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of multi-threaded server-based distributed solutions and web services communications.
- At least two years of experience with XML development and C#/.NET on Windows systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server databases, JSON, proprietary data formatting, product installation and upgrades, health monitoring tools, performance metrics, sizing models, and scaling strategies.
- Experience with data warehousing, style sheet transformations, and in-solution unit, load, fault, and automated functional testing.
- Must be willing and able to pass a public safety background check when required by the client.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to work in a remote team environment.
- Preferred qualifications include public safety or 911 dispatch operations knowledge, Lean Agile software development experience, socket programming, NIEM compliance expertise, and experience developing a React-based administrative user interface.
- Ability to work in the West Coast time zone is preferred.
Benefits
- Target base salary range is $66,000–$106,000, with potential eligibility for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonus.
- Work from home is enabled when network bandwidth supports remote installation, testing, and solution updates.
- Occasional travel to work onsite with clients is required for network outages that cannot be resolved remotely.
