Responsibilities

  • Support deployment, integration, and debugging of software tools for data acquisition, hardware control, automation, and test operations.
  • Help configure, validate, and troubleshoot software and control systems during test operations.
  • Collaborate with test engineers and operations teams in Redondo Beach and Mojave to ensure software meets test requirements.
  • Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and development workflow improvements, including Git.

Requirements

  • Be recently graduated from or actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
  • Have coursework or hands-on experience with Python or another object-oriented programming language.
  • Demonstrate project ownership and the ability to work effectively on a small, fast-paced team.
  • Have an interest in software interacting with hardware, sensors, test equipment, or control systems.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with data acquisition systems, hardware control, real-time test environments, LabVIEW, C++, real-time operating systems, embedded systems development, and academic, competition, or internship software or hardware projects.
  • Be willing and able to work on-site in Redondo Beach, California, for the internship duration.
