Responsibilities
- Develop AI-enabled applications and side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP for S/4HANA or ECC.
- Build and deploy ML training and inference workloads using SAP AI Core and manage them with AI Launchpad.
- Develop Python services with FastAPI or Flask for ML inference and orchestration.
- Build SAP CAP services using Node.js or Java for business logic and API exposure.
- Design and implement OData v2/v4 and REST APIs and integrate them with SAP systems and external systems.
- Implement API security using OAuth2, XSUAA, scopes, and roles, and support exposure through SAP API Management.
- Package and deploy models with Docker and support experiment tracking, versioning, monitoring, CI/CD, logging, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with architects, functional consultants, and integration teams; participate in design discussions, code reviews, sprint deliveries, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of SAP technical development or integration experience.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP, SAP AI Core, SAP AI Launchpad, SAP CAP, API development, and Python.
- Experience with SAP CAP using Node.js or Java and OData and REST APIs.
- Knowledge of ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or ONNX.
- Understanding of Clean Core, side-by-side extensibility, and workflow.
- Experience with SAP BTP Cloud Foundry or Kyma is preferred.
- Docker, HANA Cloud, and SAP Integration Suite experience is an advantage.
