Responsibilities
- Gather and define stakeholder test automation requirements.
- Define project plans for implementing and installing test solution applications for new and legacy projects.
- Integrate test automation with existing CI/CD systems or recommend the standard CI/CD pipeline.
- Coordinate the design and configuration of virtual build and test environments with infrastructure teams.
- Troubleshoot test automation infrastructure and build-system issues.
- Configure and support relational database environments.
- Train teams on QSS Test Solution frameworks and assist with application integration.
- Administer Linux operating systems and support CI test pipelines.
- Install and support code coverage tools.
- Assist with development of test automation infrastructure and promote test automation best practices.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant software testing experience, including at least one year in a project management-related role.
- Master’s degree in computer engineering, telecommunications engineering, electronic engineering, or a related field; a bachelor’s degree in engineering with equivalent professional experience may also qualify.
- Background in operations project management and managing test automation environments.
- Experience developing and testing software, implementing DevOps CI/CD, and building infrastructure and tools.
- Experience with relational databases, GitHub Actions, scripting, Docker, Linux, cross-platform development, Python, Bash, C, C++, and shell scripting.
- Preferred: 7+ years of DevOps experience managing test infrastructure, including two years in project management.
- Preferred: project management skills, embedded software product development with a testing background, Agile experience, C#, Java, MongoDB, InfluxDB, Grafana, Docker/container clusters, hybrid cloud environments, OpenShift, and CloudSmith.
- Excellent analytical skills.
