Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk assessment, application development, model development, and systems implementation.
- Design and develop data warehouses and ETL solutions and establish new or revised application systems.
- Monitor and control development phases including analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and operational support.
- Analyze complex application and business process issues and recommend advanced programming solutions.
- Develop post-implementation security measures and evaluate business and system functionality.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups; install systems and assist with customer exposure systems.
- Define operating standards and processes and ensure essential procedures are followed.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, advisor, and coach to senior stakeholders and lower-level analysts.
- Manage projects, adjust priorities, assess risk, and support compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Knowledge of consulting and project management techniques and methods.
- Required knowledge and experience in data warehouse and ETL design and development methodologies.
- Database expertise with MS SQL.
- Expertise in Unix shell scripting, Python, and PySpark.
- Ability to assess infrastructure needs and configure environments as necessary.
- Experience in the IB Products domain and with Dealogic Data.
- Subject matter expertise in at least one area of applications development.
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and adjust priorities quickly.
- Knowledge of Big Data technologies, application compliance and regulatory requirements, and AI trends and technologies is a plus.
