Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write high-quality software with thorough test coverage and mentor new developers through code reviews.
- Design and improve highly available, secure, distributed systems at Amazon scale.
- Conduct capacity testing, resilience improvements, and operational process enhancements.
- Participate in planning, design, implementation, testing, and operations for highly visible projects.
- Own and operate deployed systems using real-time customer data and demanding service-level agreements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: experience building complex, highly scalable systems involving predictive models or applications of machine learning.
