Base Salary

$138k - $215k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Engage technical teams and business stakeholders to propose cybersecurity approaches for current and future needs.
  • Define the cybersecurity product target state and drive execution of its strategy.
  • Develop software and use authorized AI/ML tools to automate and improve secure design and threat assessment processes.
  • Own and drive Security Design Reviews for AI/ML platforms, agentic systems, and MCP integrations.
  • Define and govern secure reference architectures for agentic systems and MCP-enabled workflows.
  • Establish security requirements for authentication, authorization, data classification, encrypted communications, tool access, and runtime controls.
  • Conduct and maintain threat models addressing prompt injection, data leakage, supply-chain threats, data poisoning, model extraction, and model inversion.
  • Evaluate current and emerging technologies and recommend future-state architecture solutions.
  • Communicate cybersecurity risks, mitigations, and architecture decisions to technical teams, stakeholders, and senior leaders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of cybersecurity architecture experience delivering enterprise-level solutions and controls.
  • Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience coding and using AI/ML and agents to improve security assessments, including willingness to develop proofs of concept.
  • Experience owning Security Design Reviews, security requirements, and architecture governance for large-scale platforms.
  • Expertise in threat modeling and mitigating AI/ML risks including prompt injection, data poisoning, model extraction/inversion, training data leakage, and third-party or supply-chain exposure.
  • Strong technical depth in cloud and application security, including IAM and least privilege, encryption and key management, secrets, network segmentation, secure APIs, logging and monitoring, and secure SDLC/CI/CD practices.
  • Experience securing agentic AI systems and tool integrations, including MCP-based connectivity or similar protocols.
  • Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle and software applications within a technical discipline such as public cloud, artificial intelligence, or machine learning.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial services IT systems and experience communicating with senior leaders.
  • Ability to validate AI-assisted security recommendations and ensure alignment with security, resiliency, and auditability expectations.
