Responsibilities
- Develop maintainable front-end and back-end applications using .NET Core, .NET Framework, C#, Python, Angular, and/or React.
- Design and implement system, component, UI, data models, APIs, reusable UI components, libraries, and micro-frontends.
- Build and deploy cloud-native services on Azure using Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and managed Azure services.
- Apply secure coding, OWASP, cloud security, authentication, authorization, secrets management, and configuration-hardening practices.
- Optimize client and server performance, including bundling, lazy loading, caching, query performance, API performance, and database performance.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; participate in code reviews and maintain high software quality.
- Collaborate with architects, technical leads, product owners, QA engineers, UX/UI designers, and developers in Agile delivery processes.
- Produce technical documentation and contribute to design systems, style guides, coding standards, and development processes.
- Guide junior developers, conduct technical sessions, perform code reviews, and share full stack and cloud-native best practices.
- Use generative AI tools and prompt engineering for code scaffolding, refactoring, test generation, documentation, and selected agentic automation tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- 8–10 years of professional software development experience, including significant full stack and cloud-native development experience.
- Experience contributing to at least 5–6 distinct projects or major product releases.
- Strong proficiency with .NET Core, .NET Framework, C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript; Python is an advantage.
- Expert-level experience with at least one modern front-end framework, specifically Angular and/or React.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, Flexbox, Grid, component-based design, state management, and micro-frontends.
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and handling authentication and authorization on client and server.
- Experience with microservices, cloud-native service design, ORMs such as Dapper, and distributed application runtimes such as DAPR is advantageous.
- Experience with Azure or similar cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, alerting, and Azure managed services.
- Practical understanding of system design, data model design, API design, OWASP Top 10, secure coding, performance, accessibility, usability, reliability, and robustness.
- Experience with front-end and back-end testing frameworks and tools such as xUnit, NUnit, MSTest, pytest, Jest, Karma, Jasmine, Cypress, and Playwright.
- Experience building complex single-page applications and distributed cloud-native back-end systems in fast-paced Agile environments.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, documentation, and mentoring skills.
- Preferred qualifications include DICOM or healthcare application experience, design systems and Storybook familiarity, Linux and Windows development experience, generative or agentic AI development experience, and Azure, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, or React certifications.
