Responsibilities
- Support and maintain CI/CD systems used by engineering teams.
- Build and improve tools that simplify build and deployment workflows.
- Partner with platform and product teams to improve developer experience.
- Identify and resolve build and deployment issues while improving reliability and build times.
- Maintain build systems, CI/CD pipelines, scripts, documentation, and developer workflow tools.
- Participate in code reviews, collaboration, on-call rotation, monitoring, and incident resolution.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience with some exposure to CI/CD or build systems.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining applications or services and understanding of software development practices.
- Experience with Git and standard version control workflows.
- Experience with GitHub Actions or Jenkins, or willingness to learn them.
- Familiarity with at least one of Terraform, Python, Java, or Go.
- Basic exposure to Docker or containerized applications and Kubernetes concepts.
- Foundational knowledge of GCP or Azure and basic Linux troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to write clear technical documentation, collaborate effectively, and own small to medium-sized tasks.
