Responsibilities

  • Set technical direction and reference architecture for agentic pricing, including multi-agent topology, A2A communication, MCP tool integration, and LLM-to-pricing-engine boundaries.
  • Design pricing-integrity controls including versioned and effective-dated pricing logic, audit trails, explanations, and separation of price proposal and approval.
  • Design secure authorization, information barriers, isolated execution, and sensitive-data controls for agents operating across clients, sellers, and regions.
  • Define MLOps architecture covering model training, promotion, registration, Kubernetes-based serving, monitoring, challenger models, back-testing, and retraining.
  • Establish agent quality and safety standards, including evaluations, guardrails, observability, and model-risk evidence.
  • Develop, review, troubleshoot, and debug secure production software for critical systems.
  • Partner with platform, engineering, pricing, product, finance, and risk teams to develop reusable agent and MLOps capabilities and governance patterns.
  • Drive validation standards for AI-assisted engineering, secure coding, peer review, automated testing, correctness, performance, and security.
  • Lead architecture and technology evaluations, design reviews, architecture decisions, mentoring, and efforts to improve application and system stability.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 10+ years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, technical troubleshooting, and operational stability.
  • Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Python.
  • Production experience architecting and delivering LLM agents or multi-agent systems with tool use, memory, evaluation, and guardrails.
  • Experience designing end-to-end machine learning platforms or MLOps pipelines for training, deployment, serving, monitoring, and governance.
  • Experience designing deterministic, explainable, and auditable systems such as pricing, billing, valuation, or risk systems.
  • Experience designing secure distributed systems involving identity, authorization, service-to-service trust, and sensitive-data controls.
  • Experience applying AI-assisted software development tools and validating AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, security, and resiliency.
  • Proficiency across the software development lifecycle, including CI/CD, application resiliency, security, and operational practices.
  • Practical cloud-native experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS, including workload identity, network security, fine-grained authorization, runtime isolation, and application-level controls.
  • Knowledge of financial-services technology environments and secure, resilient systems supporting complex business processes.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with concurrency and distributed computation, agent protocols and frameworks, regulated LLM workflows, authorization and workload-isolation technologies, Databricks, MLflow, model serving, GPU capacity planning, optimization or pricing models, knowledge graphs, GraphRAG, and model-risk governance.

Benefits

  • Competitive total rewards and benefits package, with base salary determined by role, experience, skills, and location; eligible roles may also receive commission or discretionary incentive compensation.
  • Benefits may include health care coverage, on-site health and wellness centers, retirement savings, backup childcare, tuition reimbursement, mental health support, and financial coaching.
