Responsibilities

  • Design and integrate AI-driven remediation workflows into enterprise CI/CD pipelines, including build and test gates, deployment readiness checks, failure handling, and audit evidence capture.
  • Build and operate evaluation harnesses measuring agent success, regressions, pull-request merge rates, pipeline outcomes, drift, and control effectiveness.
  • Implement PR-provenance workflows covering branch creation, CI/CD hooks, verification gates, signed commits and merges, audit trails, rollback, and operational handoff.
  • Own evaluation fixtures, replay tooling, regression corpora, quality-signal aggregation, failure triage, runbooks, and day-to-day operational support.
  • Co-own reliability and observability through metrics, logs, traces, alerting, dashboards, replay tooling, and failure-pattern analysis.
  • Support standards and tooling rollouts by integrating lint rules, template upgrades, quality gates, and migration checks into the evaluation and CI/CD flow.
  • Instrument adoption, value, operational, provenance, pipeline, and audit-evidence metrics.
  • Lead adoption of authorized AI-assisted engineering practices and establish standards for secure coding, peer review, automated testing, and AI-output validation.
  • Apply software development lifecycle tools and enterprise-authorized AI-assisted automation to improve engineering outcomes.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied corporate experience developing, debugging, and maintaining software.
  • Experience contributing to CI/CD, DevOps, or release-engineering platforms involving release pipelines, build and test automation, signed attestations, deployment controls, or audit trails.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, API development, Python, Shell scripting, automation services, test harnesses, evaluation tooling, and pipeline instrumentation.
  • Experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools and the ability to evaluate, validate, and refine generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Understanding of responsible AI practices, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, security controls, validation checklists, model-output reviews, and audit evidence capture.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, SQL databases, artifact repositories, secrets management, and controlled enterprise deployment environments.
  • Experience operating software end to end, including implementation, deployment, observability, alert response, production support, runbook improvement, and reliability analysis.
  • Working knowledge of Git internals, branching, pull-request and merge tooling, repository governance, commit signing, dependency scanning, and large-scale change orchestration.
  • Preferred experience with agent-based systems, AI/ML or cloud-native engineering, model-evaluation tooling, ML frameworks, infrastructure-as-code automation, and observability automation.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and cross-functional partnership skills.
