Responsibilities
- Design, develop, optimize, and maintain performant, resilient, scalable platform components for developers and production systems.
- Implement infrastructure as code solutions and contribute to large-scale, multi-team platform initiatives.
- Support Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, containers, and hybrid platform architecture across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Improve developer experience, development workflows, platform stability, performance, and supportability.
- Use OTEL, NewRelic, and Splunk to monitor performance and diagnose issues.
- Participate in code reviews, promote code quality, and collaborate with developers, technical leads, solutions architects, and platform teams.
- Implement feature quality analytics to inform product decisions and monitor performance.
- Participate in on-call support for a 24x7x365 business.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience developing infrastructure as code solutions.
- Experience delivering or maintaining large-scale, multi-team platforms.
- Experience working in Kubernetes environments and strong understanding of Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, and containers.
- Experience using OTEL, NewRelic, and Splunk to understand performance and issues.
- Understanding of cloud security controls and hybrid platform architecture.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Bash scripting, Python or Go.
- Strong understanding of Makefiles, Docker build files, and YAML.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, code review, and project delivery skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
- Preferred: proficiency in unit, integration, and UI testing methodologies and experience with real-time applications and push data.
