Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deliver software within existing system architectures.
- Maintain the technology stack and debug and resolve issues.
- Build features, reusable components, and products in collaboration with product management, architects, and engineering teams.
- Create and promote robust automated test suites and continuous integration practices.
- Integrate metrics and service level indicators into features to monitor, improve, and horizontally scale services.
- Lead product code reviews and use customer experience knowledge to prevent future issues.
- Follow the software development lifecycle using Agile methodology.
Requirements
- Experience in software engineering, including large-scale SaaS application development.
- Solid production experience with Go.
- Practical knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and other container technologies.
- Good operating-system knowledge, preferably Linux, and experience tuning application performance and engineering for scalability.
- Understanding of software within larger microservice architectures.
- Preferred knowledge of Python, C++, AWS or Azure, Terraform, Puppet, software security, computer networks, and gRPC.
- Strong verbal and written communication and comprehension skills.
