Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS or Azure.
  • Develop infrastructure as code, configuration management, automation, and cost-effective cloud services.
  • Design, develop, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to accelerate development and support reliable releases.
  • Implement logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting solutions to improve visibility and incident recovery.
  • Provide guidance to improve efficiency, reduce customer incidents, and enhance team and customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain tools, processes, documentation, and delivery practices.
  • Support software engineers in following the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams as a key stakeholder in project decisions.
  • Monitor cloud-industry trends and provide strategic recommendations.

Requirements

  • At least five years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing AWS or Azure solutions for medium- to large-scale applications.
  • At least five years of hands-on experience administering Windows or Linux server environments.
  • Advanced experience with at least two of Bash, Python, JavaScript, Go, NodeJS, and Java.
  • Proficiency with Ansible or Terraform and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with serverless computing, event-driven architectures, monitoring and alerting tools, and CI/CD frameworks.
  • Experience with Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, CloudWatch, and ELK.
  • In-depth understanding of cloud-native security and networking principles.
  • Experience working in an Agile DevOps environment and troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, customer-service, listening, and problem-solving skills.
  • A degree in computer science or information technology, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Fluency in English.
