Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable pipelines processing billions of events daily.
- Research, evaluate, and run proofs of concept for infrastructure, database, and streaming technologies.
- Optimize infrastructure technologies for scale, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Lead major engineering efforts from initial concept through design and implementation.
- Design scalable architectures within the AWS environment.
- Develop streaming ETL systems with efficient processing and low memory usage.
- Migrate large volumes of user-level data into Iceberg.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on backend development experience.
- Extensive experience building scalable, high-performance systems.
- Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and large-scale environments is preferred.
- Backend experience with Python or Go is relevant, though engineers from other language backgrounds are welcome.
